Kristen has had a long-term interest in on-line technology and career management. Kristen's father, Gene Austin, is a retired Charter NASA rocket scientist (who was on the dream team for the Space Shuttle and retired as project manager of the X-33 program) and he continually introduced her to the cutting edge of technology. He bought a Macintosh computer in the early 80s when she was in middle school and has continually upgraded his technology as it has evolved.

As a vocational/career counselor in the early 90s, Kristen was the only counselor in the state who purchased her own laptop (a Macintosh) in order to streamline the state required paperwork. She was able to reduce her paperwork by 75% and thus give more focus to her clients.

When her husband's 20 year manufacturing career was off-shored, she becamed keenly aware of how vital career management is in being ready for a change. She is therefore able to utilize her brand attributes of empathy and kindness along with her expertise in career management to assist people to manage their careers, professional networks, their on-line identity, etc. She then leverages her passion with technology to incorporate these offerings into an on-line platform to facilitate career and business success for her clients.

Kristen earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Vocational Counseling (Rehabilitation Services) from Auburn University. She is a Certified Personal Brand Strategist, Certified Career Coach, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Certified Professional Resume' Writer and is completing the steps to obtain her Certification as an Online Identity Specialist.
